Your One-Stop Guide To Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise
for ITE


Introduced in 1992, the Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise (JPAE) is conducted jointly by the five Polytechnics:

  • Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP)
  • Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP)
  • Republic Polytechnic (RP)
  • Singapore Polytechnic (SP)
  • Temasek Polytechnic (TP)

The exercise allows applicants to submit application for admission to full-time courses offered by the five polytechnics.

Welcome to the JPAE Online Application System

Application for 2025 admission to Polytechnic courses will open from 17 February 2025, 9am to 21 February 2025, 4pm.

To prepare for your application, please take some time to review our important dates as well as our admissions requirements via Course Finder.  You can also refer to this user guide on submitting an application.

 

To Prepare for the Application
Before the JPAE application period, ensure you have a Singpass account. Singpass allows you to pre-fill your application with your MyInfo profile, saving time and reducing errors. Singpass will verify your citizenship and other details, ensuring that you are eligible for Tuition Grant Scheme and ITE Progression Award (IPA).

 

If you do not already have a Singpass account and are eligible, apply for one in advance at www.singpass.gov.sg.
