Introduced in 1992, the Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise (JPAE) is conducted jointly by the five Polytechnics:

  • Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP)
  • Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP)
  • Republic Polytechnic (RP)
  • Singapore Polytechnic (SP)
  • Temasek Polytechnic (TP)

The exercise allows applicants to submit application for admission to full-time courses offered by the five polytechnics.

Using Singpass to Apply
Before the JPAE application period, ensure you have a Singpass account. 

  • Singpass allows you to pre-fill your application with your MyInfo profile, saving you time and ensuring accuracy.
  • Singpass will verify your citizenship and other details, so your eligibility for Tuition Grant Scheme and ITE Progression Award (IPA) can be processed smoothly, eliminating potential delays or issues.
